Greatly enjoyed this boutique hotel: fab food and amazingly friendly staff. An iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making machines, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels in my small queen room were useful during the stay as our night of luxury on our mini moon. The bedroom was big and had a great view of the sea across the bay towards Newlyn.

That was quirky hotel set in local area, so close to Penzance's finest, the sea, shops and restaurants and the Chapel Street. I was here for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant with uncommonly reasonable prices-given the standard of food & service. By and large, it was fabulous base for sightseeing in Penzance, had much fun and met efficient and best staff despite the efforts of the staff. The breakfast was complimentary and marvellous and had variety of options. The location was particularly good and perfect, in the center of Penzance, in the pretty comfortable area. A municipal garden was close to the hotel, only 1 km.

Had a very very good stay on the final night of our trip, everything was excellent. The room was great-sized, also it had smoke detectors. The staff was diligent, active, and responded promptly to requests. The location was fantastic and marvellous, near Chapel Street, and the center of Penzance. There was an in-house restaurant nearby.

Location: the hotel was just off main restaurant, Chapel St lovely shops and galleries, and a high hill on the best strolling street in Cornwall.
